Leadership
Crucial to the success and sustainability of this project, we have partnered with community leader, Pastor Mioche, and his team for the construction of the Medical Clinic. Pastor Mioche has an extremely impressive resume, and is a trusted leader in the surrounding area. Originally from the Bouyaha community, Pastor Mioche, who earned his degree and worked in the United States, has since returned to his community to build a church, community center, and a school that now serves over 400 students. Pastor Mioche is overseeing the construction of the clinic, and splits his time between Bouyaha and his family in Florida.

Project Initiation & Planning
The blueprint, seen above, has been created by our vendor who was hired by Pastor Mioche. These blueprints are initial drafts, and are continuously being molded into a cost-effective and tailored towards the need of this community. As there are no other current options for healthcare in the area, the purpose of the clinic will serve the general population, and will have capacity for various minimally invasive procedures. More updates on the blueprint will be shown here as we near beginning stages of construction

Project Fundraising and Execution
Initial numbers are difficult to calculate in the Haitian economy. Cost of building materials fluctuate daily, but our initial projections for the clinic come to roughly $60,000 for construction. Pastor Mioche has selected vendors for construction materials, hired local labor, and have land specifically designated for the clinic. The clinic is designed to offer basic amenities including primary care, basic OBGYN services, and eventually diagnostic testing.
Construction progress
With help from our supporters, construction began on the medical clinic in Haiti. Even throughout political turmoil and economic uncertainty, this clinic stands as a symbol of progress to the people of Haiti. Little did we know, this clinic offers much more than simple medical care.
